Therefore, I swear to set my sights and my goals in adherence to the highest possible version of myself. Your life naturally follows your focus. If you set your sights on the best possible version of yourself and keep your mind pointed in that positive direction, you are going to go incredibly far. Aim high, because you can only reach the places you actually allow yourself to imagine.
2. OPERATIONAL YIELD I recognize that in all endeavors, I will only extract the measure of value that I invest. Therefore, I swear to remain aware of the purpose behind my actions. By remembering what I am gaining, I ensure that every effort yields a positive return, and I am always acquiring something of value. You get out of life exactly what you put into it. If you keep in mind what you are gaining from your efforts, even the small, everyday tasks start to make sense. As long as you focus on the progress you are making, you will always get something positive out of the work you put in.
3. OPERATIONAL RESILIENCE I accept that setbacks are inevitable. When encountering friction, I swear to investigate the origin of the interference rather than merely reacting to the symptom. By seeking to fully understand the root cause, I systematically strip away its power. Frustrating events are going to pop up, usually when you least expect them. Instead of getting frustrated, just take a step back and see what about the problem makes you mad, and if you can prevent it. Once you understand the true root of an issue, it loses its power to stress you out.
4. DYNAMIC NAVIGATION Acknowledging that progress is rarely linear, I swear to remain fluid and adaptable. I will willingly adjust my approach as circumstances evolve, ensuring that any necessary course correction continues to lead me directly toward my ultimate destination. Take what you know about your goals and your setbacks, and use that knowledge to guide your daily choices. Progress is almost never a straight line. Be willing to adjust your plans along the way, knowing that detours are just a natural part of moving forward.
5. TACTICAL TELEMETRY I acknowledge that it is impossible to accurately determine my current position in life without actively tracking my behavior. Therefore, I swear to consistently monitor and review my thoughts and actions to cultivate a heightened awareness of patterns. You can’t figure out where you are right now if you aren’t keeping track of what you do. By taking time to reflect on your daily thoughts and habits, you naturally start to notice the things that aren’t helping you grow. It becomes much easier to make better choices.
